Egg Box presents an enjoyable work of poetry from an engaging poet, Andre Mangeot, part of the group Joy of Six. The first poem opens a bar up in the evening, and the last closes it at the end of the night, and in between a host of characters enter and leave, telling their stories in a Carveresque fashion. Along the way, each poem is punctuated with a different cocktail recipe as Mangeot mixes a variety of personas and voices, considering love and loss. ``````` |
